Altran

Having graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Compiègne (Fr), and having a Master of Science Degree at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research (ISVR) from Southampton University (UK), Xavier DUPEYRON began his career in 1983 at SDRC, a General Electric Company, before joining ALTRAN in 1987 as Business Manager.

Executive Director for Germany-Austria from 1999 until end of 2002, he was then operational Director for Eastern Europe countries and Asia from January 2003 to end 2006 (460 M€ Turnover, 49 M€ EBIT in 2006).

Between 2002 and 2005, he has been working together with Arthur D. Little companies contributing to their operational integration within the ALTRAN Group.

In January 2007, he was nominated as Vice President for the United States of America and Executive Director reporting to the company board, where he was in charge of the global practice “Innovation Management and development” and he set up a new business line on the Intellectual Property creation and valorisation.

Since October 2007, Xavier DUPEYRON is CEO for business activities across all UK companies (120 M€ Turnover, expecting EBIT of 8% in 2008).

Having graduated from ESSEC (IMD in International Marketing), he is Fellow Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineering of London and member of the Institute of Directors from London since 1995.

Having a passion for Music (jazz and classic) and for history, he is as well amateur of wines, travelling and skiing.

Boston Consulting Group

Stéphanie Mingardon joined the Paris office of The Boston Consulting Group as an Associate in January 1998. She earned a DEA (post-graduate degree) in Industrial Economy from Université Paris Dauphine in 1997 with high distinction.

She also obtained a Masters in business/economics from EAP (Ecole des Affaires de Paris) with high distinction in 1996. Since joining the firm, she has worked on the assignments including:

- WW Leader in Asset Management and Investor Services
- Leading European Asset Manager
- European Investor Services company
- Major European retailer
- Leading automotive company
- Major European retailer
- Worldwide leader in Water utilities
- French insurance company

British American Tobacco

Alexander Jacob, Regional Head of HR, Eastern Europe in UK, joined the group British American Tobacco in 2002 as Head of HR Operations in Bayreuth. Since joining the firm, he has worked as:
- Regional Head of HR, Eastern Europe
- Head of HR Southern Europe
- HR Director Hungary & CEE
- HR Director BAT Hungary

He earned a Diploma in Psychology from the University of Hamburg.

Eutelsat S.A.

Izy Behar (58) has been Director of Human Resources at Eutelsat S.A. since 1999.

Headquartered in Paris and with a workforce of 450 professionals from 25 countries, Eutelsat is one of the world’s leading satellite operators. Initially founded as an intergovernmental organisation, Eutelsat S.A. was incorporated as a private company under French law in July 2001.

Before joining Eutelsat, Izy Behar spent more than ten years as Personnel Director of the Crédit Commercial de France bank and prior to this he was Personnel Manager of JAPAN AIRLINES in Paris.

Izy Behar is Vice-Chairman of the ANDRH (a French nationwide HR executives’ association), chief editor of the French magazine "Personnel" and Chairman of the local ANDRH group for the 8th arrondissement of Paris (8ème Etoile).

Hays

Clare Wolfenden is Corporate Accounts Director for Hays France and Luxemburg. She joined Hays as a junior consultant in the UK Finance division in 1998.

In 2001 she joined the launch team of 6 that created Hays France in Paris.

She has set up several successful divisions within Hays France including our Human resources and Legal divisions and assisted the company grow over seven years to 500 staff in France.

Representing all of Hays divisions and recruitment solutions, her current role is to proactively engage with strategic target clients, qualifying and winning large scale business which range from membership of a PSL, through Managed Service Provision (MSP) to Full Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO).

PricewaterhouseCoopers

Barry Martin is an Australian who is now working in Prague, Czech Republic as the Human Capital Projects Manager for Central & Eastern Europe (CEE). He graduated from Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane) with a Bachelor of Business majoring in HR & Marketing and started his career in the financial services sector and managed a call centre. He then started with PwC 5 years ago in Brisbane in training and development and then moved to Melbourne to manage graduate recruitment there. While in Melbourne he undertook post-grad studies in business management.

His current work spans performance management, training & development, IT systems and a significant focus on recruitment and retention given the growth of economies in CEE."


Vodafone

Laura Castagna, HR Talent Manager in Vodafone Omnitel N.V., graduated in Economics and Social Sciences in Bocconi University, started her career in HR in the Fiat Group where she worked for 5 years developing experiences in both Operations and Development & Organization area.

She worked mainly in France with assignments in USA and China. She entered Vodafone in Italy in December 2005 and become HR Talent Manager in June 2008 after an experience as Business Partner.

Her main areas of focus today are:
- Talent Management: creating an effective proposition in line with business priorities.
- Performance Management: enhance meritocracy and pay for performance mechanism.
- Employee Climate Surveys: measurements and action plans on selected areas.

Volvo

Mireille Fesser (PhD. in Management Sciences), DRH Volvo Trucks France, worked in luxury industry, LVMH & YSL Beaute (8 years), cash and carry- Metro (7 years), department stores- Bazar de l`Hotel de Ville (7 years) and developed different areas of expertise:
- Creation and implementation of the HR function in various business sectors at global and international levels.
- Development of HR strategies adapted to specific brand images with the objective to drive business development.
- Expert in HR Development: evaluation, compensation and benefits, recruitment, team management, executive committee evaluation.
- Change management: solution-oriented approach, creativity.

From January 2007, shes's in charge of the HR function for Volvo Trucks in France.

She's also a regular Lecturer in Human Resources Management (ESSEC, CNAM, Rennes 1).

Mireille Fesser contributed to several Human Resources Management books and articles and she's the vice president of "Génération RH".
