Internship Offer – Fundraising

Triago is a specialist agent dedicated to the private equity community. We advise and support General Partners and Limited Partners in Europe, North America, the Middle-East and Asia. Thanks to 18 years of market intelligence and transaction experience on both the primary and secondary markets, Triago offers integrated, value-add services to private equity managers and fund investors.

On the primary side we assist private equity teams in their fundraising efforts, whereas through our secondary transaction advisory services we support investors seeking liquidity for their interests in private equity funds.

During this internship, you will be fully integrated in our Primary team, assisting our professionals in all the steps of a fundraising, from the initial contacts with general partners to the preparation of the marketing material and the organization of road shows.

Main responsibilities:

- Assisting on our primary missions:
  * Defining the optimal marketing strategy
  * Collecting information on GP’s track-record, deal-sourcing, organization and structure
  * Preparing marketing material (PPM, presentation)
  * Sharing fund information and arranging relevant meetings with target investors
  * Coordinating global road shows
- Assisting on our business development efforts, monitoring upcoming fundraisings and preparing presentations to prospective clients
- Assisting on the coordination of our Investor Coverage
- Preparing research & intelligence material on specific topics for communication purposes

We are looking for candidates with:

- A first experience in Private Equity, Consulting or Investment Banking is preferable
- Corporate finance fundamentals & an understanding of the Private Equity industry
- Fluency in English is required
- Proficiency with Office software
- Good presentation and writing skills
- Well organized, rigorous, detail-oriented and autonomous
- Entrepreneurial inclination, eager to work in a tight-knit team

General information:

- Starting date and duration: June-July 2010 (or possibly September) for a 6 to 9 month period
- Localisation: Paris office – 1 Boulevard de la Madeleine, 75001 Paris
- Salary: € 1,500 monthly gross salary + discretionary bonus
- First-round interviews will take place in April, with a final decision by mid-May

On the primary side we assist private equity teams in their fundraising efforts, whereas through our secondary transaction advisory services we support investors seeking liquidity for their interests in private equity funds.

During this internship, you will be fully integrated in the Secondary team, assisting our professionals in all the steps of a secondary transaction, from the initial contacts with a potential seller to the running of an auction and the final transfer process.

Main responsibilities:

- Assisting on our secondary missions:
  * Presentations to prospective sellers
  * Collection and management of fund documents
  * Analysis of fund investments , portfolio valuation and pricing estimates
  * Coordination of legal documentation and transfer process
- Assisting on the monitoring of secondary buyers and prospective sellers
- Preparing research & intelligence material on specific topics for communication purposes

We are looking for candidates with:
- A first experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking (M&A) or Auditing is preferable
- Corporate finance fundamentals & an understanding of the Private Equity industry
- Fluency in English is required
- Proficiency with Office software
- Strong quantitative skills
- Well organized, rigorous, detail-oriented and autonomous
- Entrepreneurial inclination, eager to work in a tight-knit team
